That’s why we’re excited to partner with Sojourner Center to raise funds and support the Pet Companion Shelter. Sojourner Center is one of the longest running domestic violence shelters in the U.S. and is the ONLY domestic violence shelter in Maricopa County which accepts pets. Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, a partner agency, helps to support this amazing one of a kind program, where families escaping domestic violence can keep their pets with them while they heal simultaneously, on campus. 

Imagine the impact and importance of that!

As a volunteer at Sojourner for 10 years through another local nonprofit, I have seen first-hand the amazing work that this organization does. NOW as a business owner, igotwag has the unique opportunity to continue our relationship with Sojourner Center and their Pet Companion Shelter.  Makes perfect sense. 

But, we can’t do this work without your help, let’s talk donations!

Quite often, when families arrive at Sojourner Center, they’ve only been able to escape with the basics. The clothes on their backs and their pets. 

As a fundraiser for the Pet Companion Shelter, your donations will help provide; new pet care supplies, such as new leashes and harnesses of all sizes, cat and dog toys, new cuddly blankets, chew toys and treats. When the families arrive, it would be simply wonderful to give them all of the pet supplies they’ll need while at Sojourner Center and to take home with them, when they move out of shelter.
